Coffee – Is it actually good for you?

This household “drug” has become an integral part of our lives, waking us up in the morning and boosting our energy levels throughout the day. But there’s always that question that lingers around coffee; is it actually good for you?

The answer, it actually is.

Okey, sure it makes your teeth discoloured, and raises your heartbeat to abnormal rates, but the benefits of coffee are astounding.

Coffee is full of antioxidants, which prevents free radicals. Antioxidants help prevent fine lines and wrinkles, so say hello to more youthful looking skin.

Do you have cellulite? Simply make yourself a glass and watch it all disappear. Or better yet, take a handful of ground coffee and gently buff away the areas.

Speaking of buffing, ground coffee is a really good exfoliant that will strip your skin from all the dead skin cells whilst leaving behind baby soft skin, and can even clear your pores from sebum buildup.

Maybe you’ve been crying and your eyes have become red and puffy. Caffeine in coffee has been known to reduce the puffiness too.
